chemagic Prepito is a bench-top system for the automated purification of nucleic acids from different starting materials, such as blood, serum, and tissue. The system is designed for small to medium scale and throughput applications.

Project
- The task was to develop a brand new instrument starting from scratch. The core of the system is based on the proven magnetic separation technology of the chemagic MSM I. In conjunction with the newly developed chemagic Prepito kits the design allows a fully automated purification of nucleic acids without manual interaction steps.
